Our product journey

How Sugam AI is evolving

What feedback has taught us about connecting hiring and everyday HR.

When we introduced Sugam AI, our aim was to bring hiring and everyday HR work into one connected place. We wanted the people involved in a decision to have the information they need, without losing context as work moves between teams.

Conversations with HR and hiring practitioners have helped us sharpen that aim. Their feedback has repeatedly brought us back to three practical questions: Who needs to approve the next step? Have we already met a suitable candidate? What should AI prepare, and what must a person decide?

Make decisions easier to follow

A hiring request involves more than opening a vacancy. Business needs, budget, role details, recruiter readiness, candidate reviews, interviews, and offers each have different owners. We have been refining Sugam AI's requisition and ATS workflows so these steps and their decisions can remain connected. We are continuing to improve role boundaries and the explanations people see when an action needs another approval.

Look at the people you already know

Recruiting teams may have promising people in their records before beginning another search. Sugam AI's talent pool is intended to help teams revisit previously sourced candidates and employee referrals, then associate suitable profiles with a new role. We are working to make that review clear and useful for recruiters and hiring managers.

Use AI where it helps

AI can help summarize information, prepare actions, and support candidate review. It should give people better context for their work. Our product direction keeps important approvals and hiring decisions with authorized people, while we test the quality and cost of AI-assisted steps.

What comes next

We are continuing to improve usability, tenant-specific access, integration setup, and the reliability of day-to-day workflows. Larger deployments and external integrations need validation in the environments where customers will use them. We will share product updates and distinguish available capabilities from work still being tested.

Sugam AI is still evolving. If your team manages hiring or people operations, we would value the chance to hear where context gets lost in your process and show you what the platform can do today.
